What it does
Nothing to type
We don't track where you are
The app never asks for location permission. Places come only from the location stored in your photos. Towns are identified on your device; only when looking up a place name or address are those coordinates sent to Apple's map service (you can turn this off). Original photos are never kept anywhere.
Export it, and hand it down someday
Export all your records, photos included, as a single file. Even if this app is gone, it opens in any browser.
